This area of Charlotte County was formally established in 1972 as Punta Gorda Isles Section 23, by the Developer Punta Gorda Isles Incorporated, also known as “PGI”. In 1992 the Developer, Punta Gorda Isles Incorporated, turned over the POA to the Owners of Section 23. At this time, this entity became SECTION 23 PROPERTY OWNER’S ASSOCIATION, INC., (A Florida Corporation Not-For-Profit).
